Yom Kippur, September 15th, 7:30pm, Kol Nidrei Service

The Day of Atonement begins with the mystical and moving words and music of Kol Nidrei. Come be inspired by this evening service and its powerful traditions. The service takes place at Generations, 592 Main Street, New Rochelle.

Yom Kippur, September 16th, 9-9:45am, Young Family Service

Introduce your children and family to the age-appropriate messages of Yom Kippur with singing and praying for the whole family. Your children will be amazed by the shofar, engaged by story-telling, and moved by the wonder of this holiday. The service takes place at Generations, 592 Main Street, New Rochelle.

Yom Kippur, September 16th, 10am, Holiday Service and Yizkor

Our Yom Kippur holiday service blends traditional and modern worship as only Tamid can. You will be inspired by our music, our spirituality, and our warm sense of community. As a community, we will explore the essential meanings of the Day of Atonement through prayer and music that will challenge and uplift us all. The prayers of memory and memorial – Yizkor – will help us remember our loves ones, now departed. The service takes place at Generations, 592 Main Street, New Rochelle.

Yom Kippur, September 16th, 6pm, Neilah Service

Join us as we close out our most sacred day with the Neiliah Service – or the “closing of the gates.” Special music and concluding prayers guarantee that we with end Yom Kippur at a new spiritual height, ready for the year ahead. Following the service, we will take something sweet to break our fast as we head home for break-fast meal. The service takes place at Generations, 592 Main Street, New Rochelle.

Erev Rosh Hashanah, September 6th, 5:30-6:30pm

Our short, celebratory evening service is filled with singing, symbolism, and will leave you uplifted! This outdoor service is an “appetizer” of the holiday season and will have you humming holiday tunes as you head home to your holiday dinner. The service takes place at Rabbi Scott’s home, 75 Rugby Road, New Rochelle, in a lovely wooded setting, with wine and a nosh. This service will be live streamed on Tamid Westchester’s Facebook page. Rosh Hashanah, September 7th, 9-9:45am, Young Family Service

Introduce your children and family to the “Birthday of the World,” with joyous singing and praying for the whole family. Your children will be amazed by the shofar, engaged by story-telling, and moved by the wonder of this holiday. Children will be treated to sweets and special holiday gift! The service takes place at Generations, 592 Main Street, New Rochelle.

Rosh Hashanah, September 7th, 10-11:45am, Holiday Service

Our Rosh Hashanah holiday service blends traditional and modern worship as only Tamid can. You will be inspired by our music, our spirituality, and our warm sense of community. There is no better way to start the New Year than by singing and swaying, praying and learning, meeting new friends while joining old ones and family. Rosh Hashanah, September 8th, 9am-2pm, Second Day Service on the Mountain

Nothing could be more inspiring than our Second Day of Rosh Hashanah Service on the Mountain, as we will hike to a breathtaking lookout in Harriman State Park, hold a short 25-minute service including the shofar and Torah, moving singing, and special mountaintop prayers and readings. High Holy Day Tickets

All Tamid Westchester members are entitled to tickets for their family who reside with them. Guest Tickets can be purchased, per person (above age 13), for $180 per holiday. The ticket fees will be credited towards membership for those who join by December 31st, 2021. Click here to purchase High Holy Day tickets.


COVID-19 Safety Procedures

We require all those aged 12 and older to have their COVID vaccination and ask that while indoors to please wear your masks properly. Please bring your vaccination card or Excelsior Pass with you. Families will sit together in pods with space between each family.
