Tamid is Here to Support You

Tamid offers support through all your Jewish transition moments: Hebrew Namings, Bar, Bat, B. Mitzvah, Conversion, Weddings, and Funerals and we look forward to getting to know you better. Please give us a call at 914-297-8576 or send an email to our rabbi or to connect@tamidwestchester.org and we’ll set up a time to speak.

Weddings: Rabbi Scott performs Jewish weddings for couples in the New York area, as well as destination weddings. We will perform a Jewish ceremony for a Jew and a non-Jew with a few conditions that we’ll discuss at our first meeting. Our Jewish weddings are for all genders. If we cannot meet your needs, we’ll share our list of rabbinic colleagues with you.

Hebrew Namings and Baby Namings: One of the greatest gifts is to welcome a child into the Jewish People by giving them an official Hebrew name. We can do this as a part of our Friday night Shabbat gatherings, in your home, or at another time, day, or event space.

Bar, Bat, B. Mitzvah: The coming of age ceremony at age 13 is one of the highlights of Jewish family life. We welcome you to learn more about the values and various aspects of our Bar/Bat/B. Mitzvah Program. To learn more about our 1-1 private training program, click here.

Funerals: Tamid’s rabbi has relationships with local funeral homes in the New York/New Jersey area, and is here to care and to support your family. Please contact the rabbi before you make the final arrangements for the date and time of the funeral so we can be available to support you.
